May 1 - 5, 2017 at TD Bank
Every child deserves a life full of opportunities. And for young adults with special needs, that means learning the life skills they’ll need to live self-sufficiently. That’s why Promise is building a one-of-a-kind retail and housing community. One where residents will receive financial education, while putting it into practice the skills learned to work within 10 micro businesses. Some of the business that will serve the community will be a boutique pampering dogs while serving Promise made special dog treats, a café and bakery, a thrift store and gift shop selling Promise made candles.
That’s why we came together with the community between May 1st and May 5th to collect donations at our Stores listed below. We saw lots of friendly faces, all supporting Promise. Thanks to overwhelming local support and the TD Charitable Foundation, together we raised a total of $18,000.00. Now they can continue to help provide the support and freedom these young adults need to pursue opportunities never thought possible.
